What begins with timber in its most basic form can these days result in the most advanced of products.

From the versatility of plywood, the creation of massive glulam beams or even beautifully crafted veneer, engineered wood products provide a varied range of materials that use timber for an increasing list of both structural, functional and design applications.

These products are not only helping to redefine modern construction practices, but show that wood can rival more traditional building products in terms of its environmental impact, strength, cost, finish and workability.

Cross Laminated Timber (CLT)

Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is an engineered wood product, similar in construction to an extremely large plywood, used for pre-fabricated structural applications.

Decorative Wood Veneers

Decorative wood veneers highlight the natural beauty of timber. They are produced by either slicing or peeling a much larger piece of timber log into thin slices or veneers.

Glulam

Glulam, short for glued laminated timber, is an engineered wood product manufactured by gluing together pieces of timber, known as laminates. This process produces larger size and longer length members, which can be curved or straight.

I-Beams

I-Beams offer a high-strength, long-span structural timber beam which can be used for residential and commercial building applications.

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL)

Laminated Veneer Lumber is a high-strength engineered wood product made from veneers bonded together under heat and pressure. It is used for permanent structural applications including beams and rafters.

Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

Plywood

Plywood is wood veneers bonded together to produce a flat sheet. An extremely versatile product, plywood is used for a wide range of structural, interior and exterior applications – from formwork through to internal paneling.

Roundwood

Roundwood is any timber product supplied in log form, which is usually used for structural applications.

Sawn Timber

Sawn timber is cut from logs into different shapes and sizes. Common sawn timber products include solid timber beams and more rectangular timber sections.
